Skadden is representing Nokia Corporation in its creation with China Huaxin Post and Telecommunication Economy Development Center of a new joint venture, Nokia Shanghai Bell, combining Nokia’s telecommunications infrastructure businesses in China with Alcatel-Lucent Shanghai Bell, announced August 28. The creation of the joint venture is contingent on the completion of Nokia’s pending acquisition of Alcatel-Lucent and finalization of the terms of the joint venture.
