Chapman Tripp's Swanky New Offices Win Award

Chapman Tripp are delighted in their new offices in Wellington having won an ArchitectureNow award for the fitout of their new offices in the Deloitte building, Customhouse Quay.

The new offices, over two levels, accommodate around 130 people in the building, providing a combination of reception, amenity and meeting spaces.

The judges described the fitout (from StudioPacific Articitecture) as  “A clear metaphor of light passing from the darker hills to lighter seascapes has resulted in a dark to light material palette within the two-storey floor plates. A central void and stair linking business clients and guests on the upper level and in the workspaces below, activates the space and allows a double-height library wall to stand proud and add gravitas to the work carried out here.

Chapman Tripp opened their stylish Auckland offices in the PwC building in 2020, which featured bluestone rock coffee tables displaying German designer lamps, a Japanese-designed interactive digital artwork and an African wenge wood reception desk.
