Muir as a partner in its Chicago office and member of the law firm’s Capital Markets Department. Most recently with Neil Gerber & Eisenberg, Muir has been principal counsel on transactions for loans and credit lines up to $1 billion for major clients in the United States and Canada.

Muir joins McGuireWoods with more than 25 years of experience in real estate lending and development and in commercial finance, representing large asset-based and other secured lenders, private bank lenders and mezzanine lenders. He also represents companies in corporate transactions ranging from mergers and acquisitions, capital fundraising, commercial transactions and strategic business alliances, to general corporate governance issues.
