DALLAS — LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – The Dallas Bar Association has named Beverly Bell Godbey president-elect of the organization. She is a partner at Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP. The AV rated trial attorney practices in the firm’s Dallas office. Bell Godbey will lead the Dallas Bar Association in 2007.

Bell Godbey has served as a vice president of the Dallas Bar Association and president of its community services fund board. The Dallas native is active in local and state legal communities, as well as the Junior League of Dallas, First United Methodist Church of Dallas, and the Lakehill Preparatory School Board of Advisors. Earlier this year Bell Godbey was named a Super Lawyer by Texas Monthly Magazine.
