Davis Polk Advises on Acquisition of Seacon Group

Davis Polk is advising TE Connectivity Ltd. in connection with its $490 million acquisition of the SEACON group. The transaction, which is expected to close before the end of September 2014, is subject to certain regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.

TE Connectivity designs and manufactures products at the heart of electronic connections for the world’s leading industries, including automotive, energy and industrial, broadband communications, consumer devices, health care, and aerospace and defense. The SEACON group serves the military marine and sub-sea sectors for remotely operated vehicles and autonomous underwater vehicles with oil and gas, environmental and oceanographic applications.
