Washington – January 4, 2008 – LAWFUEL – Legal Announcements – Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is pleased to announce that Ada Fernandez Johnson, resident in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, has been named Counsel to the firm.
Ms. Johnson is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on securities and white collar litigation, including representing individuals and companies in securities enforcement actions. In addition, Ms. Johnson has extensive experience litigating all aspects of securities class actions under the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act.
Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Ms. Johnson was an associate at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP and Piper Rudnick LLP.
She received her J.D. cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 1998 and her B.A. with honors from Brown University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa.
