Sentenced: The Divorce Attorney Who Got 12 Years For Hypnotizing Clients for Sex

fineA former Ohio divorce lawyer lawyer who attempted to hypnotize a female client for sexual pleasure has been given the State’s pleasure of 12 years’ free accommodation instead.

“Let’s take a deep breath … one more time. Ok, I gotta calm down, let’s do this together,” attorney Michael Fine can be heard telling the victim in the video.

The attorney’s prosecutors say the victim went to police when she realized she had lost track of time after a previous meeting, and her clothing was disheveled. When the relaxation session moved to the couch, it became more sexual, the victim told police, according to a KLTA report.

“Every time I say the word pleasure, you cannot constrain or hold yourself back, your entire body is a vessel of pleasure. Each time I say the word sleep, you’re gonna go deeper and deeper, ten times deeper. One, two, three, sleep … one, two, three sleep,” Fine says in the video.

“When is the last time you made love? Every time I touch you, it’s gonna be an incredible sensation. At the count of three, you won’t be able to control yourself.”

Later Fine woke the woman out of her “trance” and begins discussing papers they need to “go over.” before police entered the room to arrest him.

“He used my trust and his position as my attorney to gain information about my vulnerabilities. He then used that information not only to protect and defend me, but also to manipulate, hurt and take advantage of me,” said one of the victims when she spoke at Fine’s sentencing hearing in November.

After his arrest in 2014, Fine was charged with 27 counts including kidnapping, sexual battery, gross sexual imposition and illegal use of a minor in nudity, WJW reported.

Fine pleaded guilty to hypnotizing five other women last September, as well as six counts of kidnapping and one count of attempted kidnapping, according to the television station.
