LAWFUEL – The UK Legal Newswire – Hextalls, the City law firm, has promoted Julian Cox to Head of its Employment Law team. Julian has over ten years’ experience as an employment law specialist gained both In House and in private practice. He replaces Jane Liddington who had been Head of Employment at Hextalls since joining the firm in 2003.
Julian joined Hextalls LLP in March 2006 from a niche City firm where he was a Partner and Head of Employment. Shortly after qualification, Julian worked for a number of years as a Solicitor and Senior Legal Manager for a FTSE Top 100 organisation. He returned to private practice in 2001 to work for a top 20 City firm.
Julian has broad-ranging employment law experience, both contentious and non-contentious. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association, and has extensive knowledge of transport related employment law issues.
Julian is also Head of the firm’s Road Transport Group and gained his Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) last year, studying for this qualification through the Freight Transport Association (FTA).
