HOUSTON, Jan. 23, 2019 — King & Spalding today announced that David Lang has joined the firm as a partner with the Corporate, Finance and Investments practice group in the Houston office. Lang, who previously served as global head of Baker McKenzie’s Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) practice in Houston, began his career at King & Spalding.
Lang’s practice focuses on energy infrastructure development, acquisition and disposition, with particular expertise in LNG projects. He has extensive experience working with both domestic and international clients developing, acquiring and selling energy and petrochemical infrastructure assets.

Lang obtained his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas and his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
