Angelovska-Wilson, former counsel at Latham & Watkins LLP, will work from the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.

Angelovska-Wilson’s practice focuses on federal and state regulatory counseling of financial services companies and non-financial companies on a broad range of issues, including Dodd Frank compliance; financial services regulatory support in connection with M&A, restructurings, bank-owned life insurance, privacy and data security, corporate governance and internal controls.

In the payments area, the newest Reed Smith partner will advise clients on the practical, legal and regulatory solutions that facilitate online and electronic payments systems, , including mobile financial services, crypto-currency, emerging payment systems, money transmissions, data security breaches, and similar risks. She has an extensive regulatory counseling expertise on a range of consumer finance laws and regulations, and conducts audits for data protection, privacy and other laws regulating companies’ online presence and activity.
