Former Buddle Findlay litigator Sebastian Bisley has joined Thorndon Chambers in Wellington.

He is an experienced civil litigator with an administrative law and commercial practice, noting in a 2014 interview that one of his most interesting jobs was unpicking a massive fraud involving Russian interests.
He has been a Buddle Findlay partner since 2014.
He has appeared as counsel in a wide range of matters, from local government to construction to insolvency. In his 20 years of practice he has represented clients at all levels of New Zealand’s court system, as well as in arbitrations and mediations. He was Benchmark Litigation’s Lawyer of the Year in 2019, and is recognised in most directories.
Thorndon Chambers is one of Wellington’s largest with 19 barristers, including Sir Terrence Arnold QC, Jack Hodder QC, Andrew Butler and others.
