Atlanta (June 27) LAWFUEL — Kilpatrick Stockton announced today that it recently donated a mural to Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC), one of the nation’s leading healthcare deliverers. The mural, which depicts a sea of colorful fish, was one of several painted by Kilpatrick Stockton attorneys, staff and their families earlier this year to be given to health care organizations. A second mural will be presented to Hope Lodge in Charleston, South Carolina which is operated by the American Cancer Society and provides free lodging for families with loved ones receiving cancer treatment.
David Zacks, Kilpatrick Stockton Partner and former Chair of the American Cancer Society, presented the mural to members of Tenet’s senior management in a ceremony at Tenet’s corporate offices in Dallas. The mural will be displayed in a Tenet hospital later this year.

Kilpatrick Stockton’s innovative IMPACT initiative, which coordinates the firm’s community leadership, volunteer and pro bono efforts, invited John Feight — Founder of the Foundation for Hospital Art — to speak at the firm to offer inspiration for this project. Through his leadership over 300,000 volunteers and patients have united to create more than 30,000 pieces of colorful, soothing artwork to help soften the often stressful hospital experience. The artwork is displayed in 1500 hospitals in nearly 180 countries worldwide.
