Kilpatrick Stockton LLP announced today that Antitrust Practice Partner Constance K. Robinson was named by Global Competition Review as one of the world’s “Top 100 Women in Antitrust.” Global Competition Review is the leading international journal of competition policy and regulation.

Global Competition Review selected 100 women “among competition’s leading lights… that spanned the spectrum of constituencies.” Women named to the prestigious list include government officials, in-house counsel, private attorneys and public affairs specialists.

“Having known Connie for many years it comes as no surprise that she is one of the world’s preeminent antitrust attorneys,” said Stan Gorinson, Chair, Kilpatrick Stockton Antitrust Practice Group. “With over 30 years of experience in antitrust arena, Connie has been a significant leader in both the public and private sector. Ms. Robinson joined the Washington D.C. office of Kilpatrick Stockton in September 2003 after serving as Director of Operations for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division. She had significant responsibility for the Division’s civil matters, including merger investigations and cases, and participated in drafting the 1997 Horizontal Merger Guidelines. Ms. Robinson also served as a liaison for the Division with antitrust enforcement agencies throughout the world. Before becoming Director of Operations, she was a Section Chief at the Division. Ms. Robinson also headed up the Task Force responsible for implementing the AT&T breakup.

Ms. Robinson received her B.S. from Northeastern University in 1970 and her J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law in 1976. She has been recognized with the Presidential Rank Award for Distinguished Executives, Assistant Attorney General’s Award, and was a recipient of a Yearly Senior Executive Service Award.

Ms. Robinson has been a frequent speaker on antitrust issues, including programs sponsored by the American Bar Association, Practicing Law Institute and The Conference Board.
