LAWFUEL – Law News, Legal Jobs – DLA Piper today announced that Shan Spencer has been appointed as Head of the EMEA Restructuring Practice Group. Shan succeeds Simon Neilson-Clark, who has decided to step down from his position after three years in the role in order to concentrate on the Group’s clients.
Shan, who has been a partner at DLA Piper since 2001, has acted on a wide range of insolvency and reconstruction assignments for financial institutions, accountants and corporates, and will take up her new role with immediate effect.
Commenting on his decision, Simon said: “I’m proud of what we’ve achieved over the last three years and, given the anticipated increase in demand for restructuring services, it’s now time for me to devote my full-time and attention to our clients.”
