Former Pillsbury Winthrop senior partner and chair Mary Cranson spoke to LawFuel about gender diversity issues in law firms, noting the top three things she recommends that law firms – and others – need to do in order to achieve gender diversity.
Ms Cranston’s successful reign at Pillsburys saw the firm expand from its California base to a national firm achieving $600 million in revenues in 2006 from $224 million eight years earlier and expanding the role of women in law significantly.
