Ms. Goldstein comes to Reed Smith from the FDA where she served as Associate Chief Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel, Food and Drug Division for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). She advised HHS, the Office of the Commissioner of the FDA, and the Center for Drugs Evaluation and Research (CDER) on various issues, including drug safety, risk evaluation and mitigation strategies, clinical investigations, controlled substances, internet pharmacies, over-the-counter drug products, electronic records and general compliance matters. Jennifer has experience reviewing and advising on proposed and final federal regulations, guidance documents, interpreting the federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act and the Controlled Substances Act, and related federal regulations.
