LAWFUEL – Law, law firm, legal, attorney newsChadbourne & Parke LLP is representing a syndicate comprising ZAO Raiffeisenbank Austria, ZAO International Moscow Bank, and Aareal Bank AG with respect to a US$ 43 million loan to Romanov Development Group for the construction of an office building in the center of Moscow. The loan agreement was signed on September 8 for a term of over six years.
The loan represents the first syndicated credit facility issued to finance the construction of a class-A office building in Russia. The office building, Romanov Dvor II, will be located near the company’s Romanov Dvor office complex in the center of Moscow, approximately 500 meters from the Kremlin.
ZAO Raiffeisenbank Austria, the lead arranger in the syndicate, is a subsidiary of Raiffeisen International Bank-Holding AG (Raiffeisen International). On the Chadbourne side, the project was led by Moscow office Managing Partner Laura Brank and London partner Denis Petkovic. Konstantin Konstantinov and Dmitry Gubarev, both associates in the Moscow office, were also team members.
