Lawyer Delilah Banks Named to 2014 Lawyers of Color Hot List

(HOUSTON) July 24, 2014 ­– Locke Lord Houston Associate Delilah Banks has been named to the 2014 Lawyers of Color Hot List, which recognizes early- to mid-level associates of color in law firms, corporations and government. She will be profiled in the Lawyers of Color Hot List 2014 issue, scheduled to be published July 28.

Honorees were chosen through an extensive process that included reviewing peer nominations and researching legal publications in order to identify promising candidates with noteworthy accomplishments.

Banks’ broad-based practice includes representing clients on matters involving contract disputes, tort liability, premises liability, consumer finance, and various alleged statutory violations. She has advocated for her clients on both the plaintiff and defense side, and has experience in every stage of the litigation process.

She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Southern Methodist University School of Law in 2009.
