Loeb & Loeb Partner Martin Pollner Receives City University’s Townsend Harris Medal

LAWFUEL – The Legal Newswire – NEW YORK – October 4, 2007 –Loeb & Loeb LLP announces that Martin Pollner, a partner in the firm’s New York office and Co-Chair of the Firm’s White Collar Defense Practice Group, is to be honored by The City College of New York (CCNY) Alumni Association with a Townsend Harris Medal.
The presentation will be made at the CCNY Alumni Associations 127th Annual dinner, Thursday, October 18th at The New York Marriott Marquis.

The Townsend Harris Medal was established in 1933. Named for CCNY’s founder, it is an award bestowed upon CCNY Alumni who have demonstrated excellence in their professions and brought honor to the country. Prior recipients include Colin Powell and Jonas Salk.

Mr. Pollner graduated from CCNY in 1957 and was Class President. He has served under several U.S. presidents and held major positions with the United States government, including the Office of the Deputy Attorney General in the United States Department of Justice under Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy. Mr. Pollner helped develop civil rights legislation and directed various agencies focused on terrorism and organized crime.
