May 3, 2004 – LAWFUEL – Davis Polk & Wardwell advised Merrill Lynch & Co. on an SEC-registered offering by Royal Bank of Canada of $130 million of 5.495-percent notes due 2019. We also advised J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and RBC Capital Markets Corporation and the other underwriters on an SEC-registered offering by Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) of $750 million of 3.875-percent notes due 2009.
RBC provides personal and commercial banking, insurance, wealth management, corporate and investment banking, securities custody and transaction processing services and products to more than 12 million personal, business and public sector customers in Canada, the U.S. and internationally.
