LawFuel.com – Global law firm Mayer Brown advised a consortium of banks on the issuance and placement of a EUR 500m Mortgage Pfandbrief of Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG due 18 March 2020. The EUR 500m Mortgage Pfandbrief issued on 18 March 2013 has a fixed interest rate of 1.50 per cent. p.a.
The syndicate of banks included Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, DZ BANK AG Deutsche Zentral-Genossenschaftsbank, Frankfurt am Main, Goldman Sachs International, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and UniCredit Bank AG as Joint Lead Managers. The Mayer Brown team working on the transaction included partner Dr. Jochen Seitz as well as the associates Adrian Juhnke and Sven Seibold (both Capital Markets, Frankfurt). Jochen Seitz and his team are advising Commerzbank in relation to transactions in which Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG is the issuer for several years now.
