Radich is a highly regarded barrister who made an impression as Bar Association President during the ‘Covid era’ when he was able to impart useful insights and commentary on issues that arose during the pandemic.

A former partner at Bell Gully, Izard Weston and MinterEllisonRudd Watts he has represented both business and government departments, public sector organisations, Royal Commissions of Inquiry, other government inquiries and a wide range of other clients on litigation and public law matters

In a social media post, the Bar Association noted that his departure was regarded with great pride “and not a little sadness” as well as for “his unique sense of humour, which lightened many a grim day over the last difficult few years”.

The Power List includes only practising lawyers rather than members of the judiciary and so his inclusion in the 2022 Power List is now one that sees him exit the list.

He has also chaired the Legal Aid Performance Review Committee, is an immediate past board member of the Institute of Judicial Studies and a past Chair of the New Zealand Law Society’s Continuing Legal Education Committee.
