Ruth Kemball, Senior Solicitor – Property

Chapman Tripp is delighted to welcome Ruth Kemball back to New Zealand and to Chapman Tripp’s property group as a senior solicitor. Ruth moved to New Zealand in 2001 where she worked as a commercial property lawyer, before returning to the United Kingdom to join Barclays Bank Plc as legal counsel. Ruth specialises in advising clients on a variety of commercial property issues including the acquisition, development and sale of commercial properties; the leasing of office, industrial and retail premises; and the development of commercial and residential subdivisions.

Chris Liddall, Senior Legal Advisor – Corporate & commercial

Chapman Tripp is pleased to welcome Chris Liddall who joins the corporate & commercial group as a senior legal advisor. Chris is a United Kingdom qualified solicitor who specialises in advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, shareholders agreements, and corporate reorganisations and restructuring. Prior to joining Chapman Tripp, Chris worked in the corporate team of leading United Kingdom regional law firm, TLT Solicitors.

Jane Iball, Learning and Development Manager – Human Resources

Jane Iball joins Chapman Tripp’s human resources team as learning and development manager. With over ten years’ experience in human resources, Jane brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles with Farmers Trading Company and more recently HSBC, where she worked in Auckland and on secondments in Malaysia.
