NEW YORK, April 28, 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced today that Mark H. Leeds has joined the firm as a Shareholder working with the Tax and Capital Markets Departments in the New York office. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Mr. Leeds was a Managing Director and Senior Tax Counsel with Deutsche Bank AG in New York where he led the Tax Counsel function within Group Tax of the Americas. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mark served as the general counsel of a credit derivative company and, prior to that, Mark was a partner at Deloitte & Touche where he led the Capital Markets Tax Practice. Mark focuses his practice on the United States tax aspects of financial instruments and strategies. Mark is also the editor-in-chief of Derivatives Reports, a Thomson-RIA publication, focusing on legal, regulatory and business developments affecting the Capital Markets. Mark is also a frequent writer and speaker on federal income tax issues affecting the Capital Markets.
