November 11, 2004 – LAWFUEL – Law, legal, attorney news – Debevoise & Plimpton LLP is representing XL Capital in its role as financial guarantor in the $270 million multi-source financing of the Américo Vespucio Sur Toll Road, a 24 km electronically tolled urban toll road concession in Santiago, Chile. The project is being financed by means of a $156 million, 24-year local bond offering wrapped by XL Capital and a $114 million loan from the Spanish Instituto de Credito Oficial (ICO). The financing closed today.
