LegalTech startup Law Vu has recruited a senior LinkedIn executive in a recruitment coup that will further help the startup’s rise.

Greg Stephenson was North America’s marketing chief for Microsoft-owned LinkedIn who came to New Zealand because his Kiwi wife was keen to return.  LawVu has been successfully fund-raising as LawFuel has reported and has identified as a ‘legal Xero’ in what it is attempting to achieve for the law profession.

Ironically Stephenson landed a job with Xero and sought out LawVu after his contract ended, keen to follow a company with a global growth agenda.

Tauranga-based LawVu provides a range of corporates and others in New Zealand, Australia and elsewhere with its software platform for inhouse legal teams.  It has also recently landed a major contract with an unnamed social media network – LinkedIn perhaps? – which will further propel its offshore growth.

Stephenson help3ed build revenues at LinkedIn during the pandemic and is looking to help build a culture and growth with LawVu that will see the company’s global ambitions reached.
