Pedestrians Killed in Hollywood High Speed Chase Involving Police

According to reports by Los Angeles car accident attorneys, as well as statements from the police Karen Smith two pedestrians were killed when a driver was trying to outrun police.

The accident occurred when policed tried to pull over a vehicle that was being driven in a reckless manner when the driver took police on a high speed chase.

At the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Wilcox the driver being followed by police ran a red light. This is when two unsuspecting pedestrians where struck and killed by the driver whose identity has not been released.

The victims that were killed in Sunday nights high speed chase according to witnesses were holding hands crossing the street, the only information that has been released is that they were both in their 30’s. Their identities have not been released at this time.

The driver of the vehicle has been arrested according to police spokes person Karen Smith and Hollywood Boulevard remains closed at the scene of the accident and is not expected to open until sometime Monday.
