Allen & Overy LLP continues to expand its corporate practice with the appointment of real estate specialist Jochen Scheel as a partner in its Frankfurt office. Jochen Scheel will join from Paul Hastings, where he built up the real estate practice, heading it as a partner for the past nine years. His exact start date is yet to be confirmed.

Jochen Scheel is a very experienced real estate lawyer who has advised various Middle East, U.S., UK and German investors on the sale, purchase and development of commercial, retail and residential portfolios. Following his business administration studies degree, Jochen Scheel studied law, acquired an LL.M. from the University of Michigan and was appointed as a public notary in Frankfurt in 2010. He also serves as a lecturer at the law faculties of Heidelberg and Münster universities.
