San Francisco, CA July 7, 2004 – LAWFUEL – Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe LLP today announced the addition of Sara Beth Brody as a shareholder in the firm’s San Francisco office. Ms. Brody joins Heller Ehrman from the former San Francisco office of Clifford Chance US LLP where her practice focused on defending issuers, officers, directors, underwriters and venture capital firms in shareholder class actions and derivative litigation.

Ms. Brody obtained her B.A. from University of California – Berkeley and her J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where she was Managing Editor of the Emory Law Journal. Prior to joining Clifford Chance in 2002, Ms. Brody was a partner at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison. Ms. Brody has represented companies and individuals in matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission and self-regulatory organizations such as the National Association of Securities Dealers, and she has extensive experience in conducting internal investigations and counseling clients on disclosure issues. She also has represented policyholders in various insurance coverage related disputes, with a focus on director’s and officer’s insurance.
