Skadden Arps Fellowship Program Celebrates

skaddenLawFuel.com – Best Law Firm News & Marketing Service – The Skadden Fellowship Program celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Launched to commemorate the firm’s 40th anniversary in 1988, the Program provides two-year fellowships to graduating law students and judicial clerks who are dedicating their careers to providing civil legal services to the poor.

From the beginning, the Program was immensely competitive, and it has only become more so each year. To date, the Foundation has funded 677 Fellowships. Close to 90 percent of former Fellows remain in public service, and almost all of them continue working on the same issue they addressed in their original Fellowship project.
The Skadden Fellows are deeply invested in the Program and continue to work together in what The Los Angeles Times has called “a public interest law firm without walls.”
