On March 28, The American Lawyer named two Skadden partners — global corporate finance practice co-head Stacy Kanter and mergers and acquisitions attorney Nancy Lieberman (pictured) — among the publication’s “Dealmakers of the Year.”Ms. Kanter was profiled for her advising Realogy Holding Corp. in its $1.2 billion initial public offering, which was the largest private equity-backed IPO in the U.S. in 2012. Ms. Lieberman was selected for her role in Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc.‘s agreement with Eli Lilly and Company to terminate their alliance for the diabetes drug exenatide and its subsequent $7 billion acquisition by Bristol-Myers Squibb Company.
