The international law firm of Chadbourne & Parke LLP announced today that Claude S. Serfilippi has been named Managing Partner of the Firm’s affiliated multinational partnership, Chadbourne & Parke, in London. Mr. Serfilippi succeeds partner William Greason, who headed the London office for the past six years. Mr. Greason will return to the Firm’s New York office, where he will continue his international corporate practice.
The Firm also announced two other management changes in London. Partner Denis I. Petkovic will be in charge of marketing for the London office and has been named a member of the Firm’s newly formed International Committee, which will focus on international growth, building upon the opening of the Firm’s Warsaw and Kyiv offices in January. In addition, Nabil Khodadad has been named as the partner in charge of lateral recruiting for the London office.

Mr. Serfilippi advises both U.S. and non-U.S. clients in corporate and securities matters, with an emphasis on high yield securities offerings and Rule 144A/Regulation S offerings. He also has significant experience in structuring and negotiating private equity transactions and recapitalizations. Recently, he has advised clients in connection with unique and complex domestic and international life settlement and viatical transactions.
Mr. Petkovic is a structured finance specialist with a broad range of experience in banking and capital markets transactions, project finance, and insolvencies and restructurings. His projects and finance experience includes representing lenders, developers and investors on transactions in the telecommunications, energy, ports, oil and gas, transport, steel, hotels and other sectors in Europe, the CIS, Asia, Africa and the United States.
Mr. Khodadad has extensive experience in project finance and privatizations. He has advised commercial banks, foreign sponsors and host governments on large oil and gas, mining, telecoms, power and other infrastructure projects in Eastern Europe, North America, South America, the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia.
