15 December 2004 – LAWFUEL – First with law news – Skadden, Arps is representing TELUS Corporation in Verizon Communications Inc.’s sale of its 20.5 percent stake in TELUS in a public offering in the United States and Canada to underwriters led by Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and RBC Dominion Securities. The deal is valued at approximately US $1.9 billion and was offered pursuant to the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Multijurisdictional Disclosure System.
TELUS is the largest telecommunications company in western Canada and the second-largest telecommunications company in Canada.
