25 May 2004 – Hong Kong – LAWFUEL – Gareth Hughes becomes a consultant to the firm’s dispute resolution practice. Gareth joined Simmons & Simmons’ Hong Kong office in November 2002 from Freshfields, and is qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales (1994) and Hong Kong (1997). He has experience in a broad range of commercial disputes, specialising in commercial litigation and international arbitration in relation to shareholder disputes, judicial review, financial services, corporate finance, fraud, insurance and energy related matters.

Victoria Lloyd becomes a consultant to the firm’s China corporate practice. Victoria is qualified as a solicitor in Hong Kong (1996) and England and Wales (2003), and joined Simmons & Simmons in August 1999 from AIG Investment Corporation (Asia) Limited. She previously worked at Allen & Overy. Victoria is experienced in corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, initial public offering and joint ventures.
