25 November 2005 – LAWFUEL – Law, lawsuit, legal news – Anthony J. Nasharr and Brian C. Shea announced the formation of Nasharr & Shea LLC in Chicago, Illinois, effective October 1, 2004. The specialized law practice focuses on banking law, real estate, commercial litigation, corporate and transactional matters.

Nasharr & Shea LLC represents foreign and domestic financial institutions, small and mid-sized businesses and individual entrepreneurs in general business matters, commercial litigation, employment law and estate planning and administration.

Mr. Nasharr (46 years old) has been practicing law for more than 20 years and has built a practice focused on representation of several commercial banks and foreign and domestic companies, handling financing and acquisition transactions, as well as ancillary business matters including commercial litigation, commercial real estate development and other transactional matters. Prior to forming Nasharr & Shea LLC, Mr. Nasharr was a founding partner of Foran, Nasharr & O’Toole LLC.

Mr. Shea (47 years old) has over 18 years experience representing clients in commercial, industrial and multi-family real estate acquisition, development, leasing, financing, zoning, land use and tax matters, along with additional expertise in corporate and finance law. Mr. Shea has represented both U.S. and foreign corporations and institutions in secured and unsecured lending transactions; and in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, restructurings and problem resolutions encompassing all areas of his expertise. Formerly a partner with Altheimer & Gray and Baker & McKenzie, Mr. Shea joined Foran Nasharr & O’Toole in April 2003. Mr. Shea is president of the Chicago Mortgage Attorneys Association and adjunct professor of law at the John Marshall Law School. He was selected as a Leading Lawyer of Illinois, and is rated AV in Martindale Hubbell.
