433.92MHz Dry Contact RFID Tag

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) is offering this dry contact tag with two twisted wires enabling the connection to a dry contact device. The RFID tag, produced by RF Code, features low power consumption, easy operation and wire-free monitoring. It uses superior anti-collision technology for high tag densities. This compact RFID tag can be mounted using either its industrial-strength adhesive backing or by using the supplied plastic screw mount. A fast switching rate of 20 cycles per minute allows for efficient operation.
The active dry contact tag, model 124049, is impact resistant and temperature stable allowing for good performance even in industrial environments. Once connected, it monitors and reports the open or closed state of the device. While the connected device is in either open or closed state, the tag will beacon the dry contact status every 10 seconds. The RFID tag will immediately broadcast three beacons upon change of contact status after 0.5s and then return to beaconing every 10 seconds. 500,000 unique IDs are available for the tag memory. Its typical transmission distance is 200ft. The maximum radiated emission is 71.8dBuV. Its minimum switching time is 200ms in both open and closed states.
