8 March 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Norton Rose, the international law firm, continues its strong track record in the health sector with the successful completion of the Daventry PFI project, which closed on 4 March.
The project involves the construction of a new community hospital and the refurbishment of some buildings.
Norton Rose acted for the lenders, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe.
Norton Rose partner Martin McCann, who led the Norton Rose team, said:
“This fantastic project has successfully closed because of the hard work of all parties. 2005 is already proving to be a great year for our PFI/PPP healthcare practice so far. We are currently acting on a very wide range of hospital projects and LIFT schemes.”
