DALLAS (LAWFUEL) – A unique new advertising campaign and a signature community event have earned Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP double recognition in the prestigious Communicator Awards.
The firm earned an Award of Distinction in the competition’s print advertising campaign category for its “They Call It/We Call It” series. The campaign illustrates Gardere’s ability to cut through hyperbole to present a no-nonsense approach to the practice of law.
Gardere earned a second 2008 Award of Distinction in the community outreach program category based on the annual Gardere Martin Luther King Jr. Oratory Competitions. More than 280 students representing a combined 20 schools participated in the 2008 competitions in Dallas, Houston and Austin.
“Both these entries provide an accurate reflection of what we are as a firm,” says Gardere Managing Partner Steve Good. “We are committed to our communities and we are committed to providing our clients the best representation possible.”
More than 8,500 entries from across the United States and around the world were received for the 2008 Communicator Awards.
The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. The annual competition honors the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work for print, video, interactive and audio.
The Communicator Awards are sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
