Mike Stafford Joins Haynes and Boone Litigation Practice

HOUSTON (LAWFUEL) – Mike Stafford, the former Harris County Attorney who spent his last 22 years in public service legal positions, has joined Haynes and Boone, LLP as of counsel in the firm’s Litigation and Trial Practice Group in Houston. Mr. Stafford’s practice will focus on general and complex commercial litigation and public policy.

For the last eight years, Mr. Stafford led the Harris County Attorney’s Office as legal counsel for the county and its elected officials, supervising 96 lawyers and more than 130 staff members with a budget of more than $17 million.

Mr. Stafford will represent clients in general and business litigation in cases involving many areas of state and federal law, including administrative, appellate, compliance, real property, and trial and legislative relations, among others. He is an active member of the Houston Bar Association.

Haynes and Boone’s litigation practice includes more than 200 attorneys and has a long history of handling complex cases in state and federal courts throughout the nation and before administrative agencies and arbitration tribunals.
