Elias has joined the firm as a Shareholder in the Trusts and Estates Department in the New Jersey office. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Mr. Elias was a Director at Gibbons, Del Deo, Dolan, Griffinger & Vecchione, P.C. and a member of the Corporate Department and Chair of the Trusts and Estates Practice Group.
He focuses his practice on the representation of high net worth individuals, whose estate and income tax liabilities are reduced through the creation of comprehensive estate plans, including the use of charitable trusts and foundations, non-charitable trusts and business entities; the preparation of succession plans for closely held businesses; the representation of individual and corporate fiduciaries; and the representation of clients in tax disputes.

Mr. Elias earned his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University (1989), his J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law (1980), and his A.B., cum laude from Boston College (1977).
