May 28, 2005 (San Francisco and Mountain View, CA) – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Fenwick & West LLP represented Cisco Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO) in its recently announced acquisition of privately-held FineGround Networks, Inc. of Campbell, California. FineGround is a leading provider of Web application delivery systems that accelerate and optimize the performance of business-critical applications and files across the extended enterprise. Cisco will pay approximately $70 million in cash and options for FineGround. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and closing conditions, and is expected to close in Cisco’s fourth quarter ending July 30, 2005.
