It may have been no great surprise about Matthew McConaughey’s Oscar win for Dallas Buyers Club, but our favourite here at LawFuel remains his outing in The Lincoln Lawyer.
The 44 year old was always the on-the-money guy to scoop the best actor nod this time around and his aw-shucks Texas style conceals a sharp actor with a deep focus – just like his role in the Grisham-based movie “A Time to Kill” followed by his collaboration with an early colleague, Richard Linklater (“Dazed and Confused”) when he made the excellent crime thriller “The Lincoln Lawyer”.
