For the seventh consecutive year, Adams and Reese LLP ranked among the nation’s 250 largest firms, according to The National Law Journal’s 32nd annual “NLJ 250.”
The 2009 NLJ 250 is based on attorney census information covering the period between October 1, 2008, and September 30, 2009, which was provided by the nation’s 300 largest firms.
The nation’s largest law firms this year suffered the deepest cuts in their attorney numbers since the NLJ began tracking their figures more than 30 years ago. Adams and Reese increased its attorney count, was able to move up 9 spots and ranked No. 161 on the 2009 list with 257 attorneys, up from No. 170 on the 2008 list when the firm had 253 attorneys.
Adams and Reese has maintained a spot among the prestigious “NLJ 250” since breaking onto the list in 2003.
