ATLANTA (August 16) – LAWFUEL – Law News Network – Kilpatrick Stockton’s Intellectual Property Department achieved a number 10 national ranking for the most patent cases initiated or defended in 2005 according to IP Law & Business magazine in its 2006 Patent Litigation Survey. The national ranking includes a number six ranking for the number of plaintiff’s cases initiated and a number 22 ranking for defense cases initiated.
In order to create the 2006 patent litigation rankings, IP Law & Business contacted more than 200 firms in March 2006, asking for a list of patent suits that they filed in federal courts in 2005 that were still active as of February 1, 2006.
