ATLANTA (March 13) — Kilpatrick Stockton announced today that the firm’s Labor & Employment department recently hosted a seminar, “Navigating EU Employment Laws: What You Need to Know.”

The seminar was designed to help companies conducting business in the European Union (EU) understand existing and emerging employment laws. It was geared toward companies dong business, or that have employees, in the EU. Natasha Benn, Richard Hankins and Tim Johnson, all members of Kilpatrick Stockton’s International Employment Team, addressed topics such as protecting company information, whistle blowing, complying with privacy laws, data protection, and key issues in the hiring and termination processes.

“This was a wonderful opportunity for us to meet with in-house attorneys and executives responsible for international business operations and discuss both legal and practical issues in a relaxed setting. More and more of our clients are focusing on their European operations, and we’re delighted to be able to add value to those strategies,” said Mr. Hankins, a Partner in Kilpatrick Stockton’s Labor & Employment department.
