ATLANTA (SEPTEMBER 6) — Kilpatrick Stockton today announces it has been named to the list of top US firms by American Lawyer magazine – earning honors as the top-ranked firm in the Southeast. The publication’s annual “A-List” determines the top firms by assigning weight to various factors, specifically to revenue per lawyer, pro bono work, associate satisfaction, and diversity. The result is the publication’s annual ranking of the AmLaw 200 firms.
The same issue of American Lawyer also reports a “pro bono scorecard.” This year Kilpatrick Stockton moved into the top 25 nationally. The AmLaw rankings are based on a formula that uses two factors: average pro bono hours and the percentage of lawyers with over 20 hours. In the latter category, the firm’s percentage put us in the top five in the nation.
