David has played an instrumental role in the continued success of this practice consisting of Litigation Support, Accounting, e-Forensics, and Construction Audits. David’s hands-on experience and proficiency in these areas will help support our continued growth and enable us to maintain a gold standard of exceptional client service.

Mr. Shapiro was previously a Manager with the Kroll Companies in New York City, where he ran Forensic Litigation Consulting & Investigative Accounting engagements. Mr. Shapiro’s particular expertise at Kroll included construction auditing, fraud investigations, internal control reviews, and financial / non-financial due diligence investigations. Additionally, he is especially skilled in conducting adversarial interviews. Prior to his work with Kroll, Mr. Shapiro was a CPA with an accounting firm where his specialties included litigation support and auditing. Previously, he practiced law for several years as an Assistant Prosecutor for the Essex Country Prosecutor’s Office in Newark, New Jersey. Mr. Shapiro started his professional career as a Special Agent and Assistant Legal Advisor for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in New York, where he was assigned to the Foreign Counter-Intelligence and Organized Crime Squads.
