Charles Vandervord is highly experienced in insurance personal injury litigation. He is one of the Deputy Chairpersons of the New South Wales Serious Offenders Review Council and one of the Deputy Presidents of the New South Wales Mental Health Review Tribunal as well as the Legal Member on the New South Wales Dental Board.
Charles has represented the Law Society of NSW, initially on the Interim Advisory Council and subsequently on the Workers’ Compensation and Workplace Occupational, Health and Safety Council of New South Wales. He has also represented the Society and the Law Council of Australia in relation to their respective committees in regard to Tort Reform over many years.
James Vandervord, who joins TressCox’s real estate law team, is an accomplished lawyer whose expertise lies in the areas of litigation and personal injury. (James specialises in workers’ compensation, work injury damages and indemnity claims along with Common Law litigation). He also has significant experience and qualifications in alternate dispute resolution and advising and representing employers in relation to statutory breaches.
Andrew Vandervord brings to the Firm significant experience in the field of personal injury litigation. Andrew is highly skilled in workers’ compensation claims specialising in the aged care sector, as well as asbestos/dust disease claims and occupiers/public liability litigation. He also deals significantly in alternate dispute resolution, indemnity claims and compulsory third party motor vehicle litigation.
The addition of Charles, James and Andrew Vandervord to its legal team, will bring to TressCox a number of new areas of practice as well as some noteworthy clients, including the NSW Police Board, QBE (recovery and indemnity claims), the NSW Department of Commerce and Royal Freemasons.
