BALTIMORE January 14, 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Michael L. Jennings, a highly respected and experienced
corporate and real estate lawyer joins Ober|Kaler’s Business Group in the firm’s
Baltimore office.
Mr. Jennings, forty-six, represents corporate clients in mergers and acquisitions,
stock and asset sales, joint ventures and financings. His practice also includes the
representation of lenders and developers, purchasers and sellers of commercial real
estate.
Formerly a partner, and co-founder of Jiranek, Jennings & Patterson in Towson, Mr.
Jennings was attracted to Ober|Kaler because of the growth opportunity and resources
it offers his clients.

Mr. Jennings is a graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law (LL.M.,
1994; J.D., cum laude, 1986) and the University of Cincinnati (B.A., 1981).
He is a member of the Maryland State and Baltimore County Bar Associations and
admitted to practice in Maryland.
Mr. Jennings joins other experienced members of Ober|Kaler’s Business Group,
including Group Chair Frank C. Bonaventure and IP attorney E. Scott Johnson, both of
whom were recently selected for Woodward & White’s “2005-2006 The Best Lawyers in
America.”
Mr. Jennings is a resident of Roland Park.
