Berlin, October 9, 2006 LAWFUEL – Law News, Law Jobs … White & Case has further strengthened its corporate practice with the appointment of two partners and an associate from Clifford Chance. Jörg Kraffel, former head of Clifford Chance’s Berlin office and equity partner of 16 years, brings respected expertise in mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and privatisations. He also joins with local partner Carsten Rodemann and associate Jutta Dissen.
Kraffel has broad expertise in all aspects of corporate and commercial law. In particular he has deep experience in matters involving company law and in recent years has concentrated on investments and acquisitions in the energy sector.

Kraffel and his team will start with White & Case at the end of the year. Their arrival brings Berlin’s lawyer count to 28 and the German corporate practice to 84 lawyers.
